
GWENDOLYN NITZ, LCSW
Gwendolyn Nitz, LCSW, IMH-E III, is a licensed Clinical Social Worker in the State of New York. She has over 10 years of experience as a psychotherapist working with new mothers and young children. With expertise in both early childhood and maternal mental health, she creates a space for her clients to safely explore unspoken thoughts and feelings while holding out the hope that things can change. Her practice provides psychotherapy to women, children and families experiencing issues related to pregnancy, parenthood, attachment and trauma.

Gwendolyn Nitz, LCSW, IMH-E III takes a trauma informed relational based approach to her work and has advanced training in perinatal mental health. This includes perinatal mood and anxiety disorders (PMADs), addressing adjustment difficulties to parenthood, perinatal loss, and infertility. She is a rostered Child Parent Psychotherapist with years of experience working with young families, children under five and families impacted by the welfare system. Before becoming a psychotherapist, Gwendolyn Nitz worked with neurodiverse individuals in educational settings.
