Early Childhood Mental Health Consultation provides valuable support to children, caregivers, and early childhood professionals, helping to address the emotional and behavioral challenges that young children may face. By identifying concerns early and providing targeted interventions, it helps children develop the social-emotional skills they need to thrive, while also supporting parents and caregivers in fostering positive, healthy relationships.

Ms. Nitz, LCSW, IMH-III has specialized knowledge in childhood development, the effects of stress and trauma on families, the importance of attachment and the role of parent- child relationships in the overall health of a family. Additionally, she has expertise in parenting and special education.  She is available for consultation with individuals, head start and early head start organizations, early childhood educators, child welfare organizations and other organizations who work directly with children and their families.

Ms. Nitz is also a Rostered Child Parent Psychotherapist with more than ten years of experience as a clinician who is available for supervision and individual case consultations.
